FAQ

01. Will i get seasick?

Sirenia is a catamaran which are very stable through the water. With a catamaran hull, you don't get the "lean" that you may experience on monohull sailboats. She is a smaller cat, so there may be moments of pitching and rocking in rougher conditions. In general, a catamaran offers a very smooth ride.

02. Is there a bathroom?

YES! However, we advise and encourage our passengers to try to use the restroom before our departure, but when you gotta go you gotta go!

03. How many people does this boat carry?

Sirenia is what is known as an uninspected passenger vessel and is legally limited to SIX passengers.

04. Can we bring food and drinks?

ABSOLUTELY! We also offer complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages on board. Alcohol is permitted but must be consumed responsibly.

It Depends!! We are limited by wind but we also cater the cruises to YOU! If you're an avid sailor we can absolutely sheet in and rip through the bay. For our guests who just want to relax with the sails up, we can do that too!

06. Is it safe?!

We do everything we can to make our sailings as safe as possible. All of our captains are licensed by the USCG and carry all appropriate safety gear.

07. What about Weather?

We will never go out in unsafe or unpleasant conditions. If we have to cancel or abort a trip you will of course receive a full refund.

08. Who can sail?

We want everyone to have a great experience and will make it as accessible as possible. HOWEVER, the sailboat does have narrow walkways and there are sailing related lines around the boat. Individuals of size or with mobility issues may find some aspects of the tour a little more challenging.
